I've always had a deep passion for weddings, parties, holidays, and the art of table design. Whether I'm immersed in vendor research or putting the final touches on a table setting, there's a certain magic in bringing a client's vision to life. I feel fortunate to have been working in the events industry for over two years now, and every moment has been an absolute joy!

My love for event planning started in my pre-teens when I was tasked to search for things to do on our family trips. Ever since then, I had planned every single family trip, but it wasn't enough. That's when I decided to pursue a career in event planning. My love for wedding planning started when I was completing my internships - particularly awed by all the different emotions that can be expressed in one night. It makes my day knowing I had a part in these big moments! My day is complete with a cuddle session from my dog, Lucas, some books and a hot coffee :)

Amanda

I have a passion for bringing people together and creating special moments. I started my journey at Microsoft as a Community Development Specialist, planning community events. I loved the job's organizing, planning, and creative aspects and eventually, I decided that I wanted to do more! This brought me into event planning/coordinating. It's beautiful to experience joy and love through others and special experiences like weddings and other celebrations. I love working with people, paying attention to meticulous details, and bringing ideas to life.

In my free time, I love to read, play cozy video games, bake, cook, paint, and spend time with friends and family.

MEET SYLVIA!

I'm Sylvia, the Owner and Lead Planner at Le Petit House. With a background in interior design, I enjoy bringing a touch of creativity and attention to detail to every wedding I plan. I value cultural diversity and love helping couples incorporate their traditions into their special day. Whether it’s a traditional Indian wedding, a Chinese tea ceremony, or a Coptic Orthodox wedding, I strive to honour and celebrate different cultures in my work.

Growing up, whenever I was asked what I wanted to be, my answer was always 'Interior Decorator or Event Planner'. Today, I am fortunate to be doing both. After graduating from the Interior Decorating program at Sheridan College and becoming a Certified Stager, I ventured into the event industry and never looked back.

I am also Trilingual and was fortunate enough to have lived in and traveled to multiple countries, giving me a deep appreciation for diverse traditions. When I'm not working, you'll probably find me either hosting friends, binge-watching a show, or planning my next trip.

My goal is to create extraordinary events and spaces that reflect what makes each client unique, ensuring your experience is memorable, enjoyable, and stress-free.

A heart full of passion and a mind wired for organization. With a background in project management from my master's studies, I discovered my love for event planning. Witnessing two souls unite is magical, and I consider it a privilege to help make their dreams come true. As a detail-oriented person, I thrive in coordinating things seamlessly. What fuels my passion is the unique energy of each event and the fast-paced environment where problem-solving is second nature. My approach, infused with mindfulness from my yoga practice, creates experiences that resonate long after the vows are exchanged.
